5210+10 is a national childhood obesity prevention campaign, adopted by the East Baton Rouge Parish School System through its Wellness Policy. Baton Rouge added “10” because of the growing body of research showing how lack of sleep is linked to obesity and other behavioral health issues in children.
Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital is committed to helping improve the overall health of our community. Taking small steps every day can make a lasting impact on your family’s health.
The program outlines five ways you can help your children lead healthier lives. Click thru below to learn more and find resources to help teach your kids about a healthy diet.
