Our Lady of the Lake is pleased to welcome two new pediatric gastroenterologists to the Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group, Meredith Hitch, MD and Elizabeth McDonough, MD. These physicians specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of children, ranging from newborns to teenagers, with digestion and gastrointestinal (GI) issues.
|Dr. Meredith Hitch earned her degree in medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine in New York. She completed both her internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky. Dr. Hitch then completed her Fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition at Washington University School of Medicine in Missouri. She is Board Certified in both pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology.|
|Dr. Elizabeth McDonough earned her degree in medicine from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She completed both her internship and residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Tennessee, where she also completed her Fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition. She is Board Certified in both pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology.|
