Firdous Laique, M.D., received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia. She completed her Pediatric Critical Care fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Dr. Laique was recently awarded Faculty of the Year honors for her outstanding teaching of residents from the LSU/Earl K. Long Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dr. Laique serves as the Co-Medical Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.
