Sheila Moore, MD received her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She did a rotating internship and first year pediatric residency in Nashville, TN at Mid-State Baptist Hospital and completed her residency at Earl K. Long Medical Center, Baton Rouge. She developed a pediatric oncology clinic, began the first sickle cell clinic for children in Baton Rouge and
began the first Pediatric HIV Clinic in this area. She is the Medical Director of the St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s
Hospital. Dr. Moore is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Society of Pediatric Hematology Oncology, American Society Oncology, Baton Rouge Oncology Group, East Baton Rouge Parish Medical Society and East Baton Rouge Pediatric Society. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics.
