Cindy E. Chestaro, M.D. received her medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic and then went on to complete a residency in Pediatrics at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. Dr. Chestaro then completed a Fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at The University of Chicago Medicine & Biological Sciences. She specializes in the diagnostic evaluation, biomedical management, and family support for children with motor, communicative, sensory, developmental, genetic, neurological, learning, and behavioral disorders – including Autism, Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delays, PDD, Learning Disorders, Speech Disorders, Behavioral Disorders, ADHD and Asperger’s. Dr. Chestaro speaks both English and Spanish.
