J. Brannon Alberty, MD attended medical school at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, completed residency training in pediatrics and internal medicine at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, and completed a Fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, in Nashville, TN. He is Board Certified in pediatric gastroenterology.

Ghanim Aljomah, MD received his medical degree from the University of Aleppo in Syria and completed his residency in pediatrics at Tulane University in New Orleans. He then completed a pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition fellowship at the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Aljomah is Board Certified in pediatrics and board eligible in pediatric gastroenterology. His special interests within the gastroenterology specialty include inflammatory bowel disease, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and abdominal pain.

Meredith C. Hitch, MD earned her degree in medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed both her internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky. Dr. Hitch then completed her Fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition at Washington University School of Medicine in Missouri. She is Board Certified in both pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology.

Elizabeth M. McDonough, MD earned her degree in medicine from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Patrice Tyson, MD earned her degree in medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She completed both her internship and residency in pediatrics at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where she also trained for her Fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition. Dr. Tyson is Board Certified in both pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology.
